Nostradamus Prophecy for 2012

Michel de Nostredame, better known as Nostradamus, was born on December the 14th 1503 in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France. He was a reputed seer who published collections of prophecies that have become famous worldwide since that time. His famous book "The Prophecies" appeared in 1555. This work contains at least 6338 prophecies. Some people thought Nostradamus was a servant of evil or could have been insane. But many of the french elite thought his writings were spiritually-inspired facts. Nostradamus himself encouraged this belief.

Some accounts of Nostradamus state that he was afraid of being persecuted for heresy by the Inquisition. But neither prophecy nor astrology was a reason for the inquisitors to accuse him. He could have been in danger only if he had practiced magic or alchemy.
Many have found that most of the predictions by Nostradamus have been accurate and his prophecies are highly regarded by astrologers and in many occult circles.

The year 2012 Nostradamus predicted as a black picture. He predicted massive destruction brought about by a comet that impacts the earth. But this prophecy does not indicate clearly if this comet passes the earth very closely or really strikes the planets surface. Many interpreters of his writings are united on the opinion that the end of the worls will come somewhere in December 2012.

But, but, but - there where also predictions made by Nostradamus for the year 2000: nothing happened - it is still a question of interpretation.
