Histories on paths, bridges and keys

On our journeys we are transiting countries somewhere far away, we are listening to different languages, we are meeting other people and things, which are sometimes very unfamiliar and new to us and we did not know anything about them before.

Sometimes, we only see things just differently, since they are basically already familiar to us in some known or unknown way.

But we see them from a different perspective, maybe, while discovering familiarities and new aspects in their parallel existence as something completely new to us, as something reciprocally completing and complementary.

Thus bridges in their special role, according to paths, are a sometimes a small part of human’s unquenchable thirst for flying by superseeding natural laws and seeing mundane, earthly things from completely different perspectives.

Long loop ways are shortened by bridges, too, since they span for connecting between two shores or two sides of an unsurmountable canyon or a powerful gushing river.

Natural obstacles and for humans not accessible gaps are bridged by marvellous examples of architecture, in marble, stone, wood and metal, accessible to all and open to all, since they are nullifying what only seems to be dissociating and disjoined.

They are silent, serving all, deeply rooted in human consciousness as a symbol for eternity, especially the arch bridges, sculpting the rainbow: eternal primal pattern for continuity before the faces of all generations of mankind by now and those who will have a stake in the future.

Sometimes, bridges are also parts of our individual path, in a very special pattern. They lead us to a state of existence beween heaven, skies and earth, since then, standing on such piece of human work of art and engineering, one’s visionary spirit can resolve the forces of gravity in a very rudimentary way and blank them out. From the perspective of standing on a bridge, we have an expanded view, a panorama, we see both shores and the river ort he canyon from an unfamiliar, but safe and unique perspective.
