Virgo    - 24. August - 23. September

Virgo has been associated with nearly every prominent goddess, including Ishtar, Isis, Cybele, and Athena, as well as with Mary the Mother of Jesus. It may also feature, along with Ursa Major, and Ursa Minor, as part of the source of the myth of Callisto, either as Callisto herself, or as Hera.
The Greeks called the constellation Parthenos. She is usually identified as Dike, goddess of justice, who was daughter of Zeus and Themis; but she is also known as Astraeia, daughter of Astraeus and Eos.

Brightest stars

A bluish-white star in 260 light years distance. The meaning of the latin name is ear (wheat spike). The arabs called it Azimech, coming from the arab word "Al Simak", "The Defenseless" or unarmed, because it seemed to be unattended from the surrounding stars.

Alchimistical element:

Virgos belong to a group of people known for their perfectionism and highly analytical minds. There is a bit of a joke about how precise and demanding Virgos are but when you think about it, what is wrong with being tidy, organised and clean? In a way, you are misunderstood and your attention to detail, your desire for excellence and hygiene is not as bad as some might think.

Purpose-oriented, perfectionist, detail-loving
